Introduction to For His Glory
Welcome to my blog! One of the ways I serve God is through passionately writing about His word and sharing it to the world. I started For His Glory with a mission to give others a taste of my thoughts, experiences, and God's goodness. What started as frequent posts on social media has evolved into a site filled with information about various topics that are near and dear to my heart. I write these posts in hopes to encourage you to seek Jesus and discover the truth.
Society has lost its grasp on the importance of morality and what it means to live a life guided by Christian principles. Many individuals prioritize material success and personal pleasure over the values that once held a prominent place in our communities. As followers of Christ, we must remember that our purpose is not to conform to the ways of the world but to live a life that reflects the teachings of Jesus. This means that we must stand firm in our faith, resisting the temptations of worldly desires and embracing the principles of love, kindness, and compassion. Satan is here to steal, kill, and destroy. He will use any means necessary to lead us astray and tempt us to give in to sin. It is our responsibility to resist these temptations and to live a life that glorifies God. Being a Christian is not just about going to church on Sunday or saying a prayer before a meal. It is about actively seeking to live a life that gives God honor and glory in all that we do, both in private and in public. This requires us to continually make a conscious effort to grow in our faith and to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit. We must fight against the forces of evil that seek to tear us down and seek to bring hope and light to a world that so desperately needs it. May we continue to be faithful servants of God and may we always strive to do His will.
About Me
My name is Madeleine and I am here to share my journey of how I used to live my life for the world, but have now found true fulfillment in living for God. Growing up, I was caught up in the rat race of society, constantly striving for an identity and validation from others. I was always chasing after the desires of my flesh, trying to fill the void that was present in my life. But, despite my efforts, I still felt empty and unfulfilled. It wasn't until I discovered the love and grace of Jesus Christ that I truly understood the meaning of true fulfillment. I learned that living for the world and its corrupt values would never bring me true joy and peace. Instead, I found that living for God and following His teachings brought a sense of purpose and contentment to my life that I had never experienced before. I hope to share my story and encourage others to live for Christ in a society that often promotes values that are at odds with the teachings of the Bible. It is not easy to stand for what is right in a world that is constantly trying to pull us away from God, but with His grace and guidance, we can navigate these challenges and find true fulfillment in living for Him.
